Poll: Yerevan residents hail recent changes in the city![]() April 27, 2013 - 11:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of GALLUP International Association Armenia Office Aram Navasardyan said 1066 public opinion polls were conducted ahead of May 5 Yerevan city council elections. “About 76% of Yerevan residents positively assessed the changes implemented in Yerevan in the past 1.5 year, however, noting public transportation and waste management among the serious problems the city currently faces,” Mr. Navasardyan said, adding that the highest assessment was given to Kentron and Avan administrative districts. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
