Peace deal to be put on referendum if reached: Netanyahu

PanARMENIAN.Net - If Israel reaches a peace agreement with the Palestinians, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would bring it to a referendum, he said on Thursday, May 2 in a meeting with Swiss Foreign Minister Didier Burkhalter.

"There are a few things that I think we can learn from you and one of them is the issue of referendum," Netanyahu told Burkhalter in a meeting in Tel Aviv, according to The Associated Press.
