In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, chief coach Karen Aghamalyan said the Armenian athletes conducted joint sparring with the Russian team on May 1. “We are conducting a joint practice session with the Russian squad of 52 boxers,” the coach said, hailing the course of the trainings. The squad will return to Yerevan on May 10, to further depart for Kyiv for joint trainings with Ukrainian, French, Irish and possibly Azerbaijani boxers. “This will be the final stage of the trainings, with the European championships to kick off on June 1,” the coach said.
