ANC leader, U.S. envoy discuss Yerevan city council polls

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 2, first president of Armenia, leader of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) party Levon Ter-Petrossian met with U.S. ambassador John Heffern.

The upcoming Yerevan city council elections and the monitoring of the polls by international organizations were discussed during the meeting.

The sides further dwelt on the prospects of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

ANC board deputy chairman Levon Zurabyan and board member Avetis Avagyan were present at the meeting.
