Creative Rural Youth Work 7-day seminar completes in ArmeniaMay 4, 2013 - 15:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Creative Rural Youth Work international seminar completed today, on May 4 in Armenia. The event, organised by WostAYN and funded by EU, Youth in Action program brought together 28 young leaders from 11 countries.by WostAYN and funded by EU, Youth in Action program. The aim of this seminar was to involve the youth living in rural communities in the youth social work while using new creative methods andthe youth organization's potential. During 7 days the youth from Latvia, Georgia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Croatia, Czech Republic and Romania were able to represent not only the nationalyouth policy which leads in their states but also created together new projects for youth living in ruralareas, WostAYN press service reported. During the past 7 days, the seminar participants briefed on their countries’ youth policies and delivered new projects. WostAYN was established in 2006 in Yerevan, has acquired the status of an international organization and unites 21 youth organisations from 15 countries . The goal of WostAYN is to promote the maintenance of Armenian identity by Diaspora communities, Armenia-Diaspora partnership development and strengthening in the youth field, to take part in development and implementation of national and international youth programs.
