Istanbul police arrest Armenian church shooting suspects![]() May 6, 2013 - 19:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Two young men were arrested in Istanbul over the shooting in Saint Hovhannes Armenian church. According to Radikal paper, those arrested were identified as M.E. born in 1997 and G.M. of Armenian descent, born in 1996. They confessed to having bought a gas gun and M.E. shot in the air to test it. The young men said their shots were unlinked to the church or those in the church. An unknown man fired 7 shots in the air during May 5 liturgy and disappeared.
