Kasprzyk: Number of Killed and Wounded in Karabakh Conflict Region Increased

PanARMENIAN.Net - December 15 Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict region Andrzej Kasprzyk voiced regret over the increase of the number of killed and wounded in the conflict zone. In his words, the violations of agreements and cease-fire are caused by the fear of the soldiers. "This year the number of killed and wounded. This is terrible. But it's a fact," A. Kasprzyk stated in Baku. He also informed that the next monitoring at the contact line of the Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh armed forces will be held in January 2006. "Presently I am dealing with the visit of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to the region. Then I will return to Brussels," said Kasprzyk adding that according to the agreement the monitoring should be held once in two months.
