Game Of Thrones beat Homeland and The London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony to the Radio Times Audience Award, the only trophy voted for by members of the public, but was pipped to the International prize by Lena Dunham's Girls. Coogan won the Male Comedy Performance award for his latest outing as Alan Partridge in Welcome To The Places Of My Life, while Olivia Colman took home two acting trophies: Female Comedy Performance for Twenty Twelve and Supporting Actress for Accused. Meanwhile, other acting awards were won by Sheridan Smith, Ben Whishaw and Simon Russell Beale. Alan Carr collected the Best Entertainment Performance prize. Made In Chelsea pulled off a shock victory in the Reality and Constructed Factual category, beating off competition from The Young Apprentice, The Audience and I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. Meanwhile, EastEnders pipped Coronation Street to the Soap & Continuing Drama award. Other TV shows lauded at the event, which was hosted by Graham Norton, included The Great British Bake Off, Twenty Twelve and the presenter's own The Graham Norton Show.
