Crop loss caused by hailstorm discussed in Armenian government

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government held a discussion on the crop loss caused by the hailstorm, headed by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsayn.

Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan noted that the hailstorm affected 43 communities, a total of 17 thousand hectares of planted area. He stressed the need for reseeding of vegetables and melons, with seeds to be distributed among the rural residents for the purpose. The villagers will also be provided with diesel fuel and fertilizers, RA governmental press service reported.
