AAA Conveyed Schwarzenegger Original Statement on Armenian Genocide to Genocide Museum

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Assembly of America regional director in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Arpi Vardanyan has conveyed the original of the statement of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger made on the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide to the Genocide Museum. The document signed and sealed by the California Governor and Secretary of State Bruce McPherson, says, «90 years ago the Ottoman Turkish Government unleashed a terrorist was against the Armenian culture via violent deportations, arrests, murder of ethnic Armenian men, women and children. The Ottoman Empire collapsed in 1923, however the monstrous attempt of ethnic cleansing resulted in the death of 1.5 million Armenians. 500 of survivors were evicted. The existence of the Republic of Armenia today is a reminder of the Armenian Genocide to the world and irrefutable evidence of the steadfast spirit of its people.»
