  Armenian flag raised outside Strasburg City Hall May 17, 2013 - 20:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian flag hoisting ceremony took place outside Strasburg City Hall on May 16. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Strasbourg Mayor Roland Ries, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Andorra Gilbert Saboya Sunyé, ambassadors accredited in Strasburg and representatives of Armenian community attended the event. Minister Nalbandian noted Strasbourg as a seat of the Council of Europe, symbol of human rights and fundamental freedoms. “Strasbourg represents European diversity with its cultural heritage and architectural diversity. RA chairmanship will enable Strasbourg residents to familiarize themselves with Armenia and Armenian heritage,” he said.
