Armenian Defense Minister meets outgoing Swiss envoy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met on May 17 with the outgoing Swiss ambassador Konstantin Obolensky.

Minister Ohanyan highly assessed the defense cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the framework of Capacity Building in International Relations (CABIR) project organized by Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and the Swiss Confederation.

Ambassador Obolensky, in turn, stressed the importance of Armenian-Swiss cooperation, expressing Switzerland’s readiness to continue assistance in RA armed forces reforms, defense ministry’s press service reported.
