Russian Civic Chamber rep. calls for NKR involvement in settlement talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - A member of Russia’s Civic Chamber Denis Dvornikov characterized the OSCE Minsk Group as the only constructive format in the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

In a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter the political expert urged to refrain from hasty assessment of the Minsk Group’s activity.

“One can only sympathize with the diplomats whose filigree political work hasn’t yet yielded a clear result that can be proudly announced at a news conference. The Minsk Group representatives are diplomatic sappers, and the cost of their mistake can be colossal. So in many cases we have the Minsk Group to thank for preventing an “explosion”,” the expert said.

In conclusion, the expert called for the involvement of Artsakh people in the conflict settlement negotiations.
