Turkish President to Discuss Karabakh Settlement in BakuJanuary 13, 2006 - 13:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - January 23-25 official visit of Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. Wide range of issues will be discussed during the visit: bilateral relations, Nagorno Karabakh settlement, Northern Cyprus, implementation of energy and transport projects. Sezer's talks in Baku will also focus on construction projects of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. The Turkish leader and Azeri President I. Aliyev will discuss the idea of building Trans-Caspian gas pipeline to export Turkmen gas to Turkey and farther to Europe.Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
