Aliyev Holds Secret Talks with OSCE Diplomats?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yeni Musavat newspaper of Azeri opposition insists that Azeri President I. Aliyev in Paris holds secret talks with OSCE diplomats, who are mainly engaged with settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, specifically the opportunity to hold a referendum to determine the NK status. Officially I. Aliyev is on vacation since January 2. Referring to diplomatic sources, Yeni Musavat states Aliyev has left for Dubai and then he will go to Paris. An officer Azeri Embassy in Paris, who wished to remain unknown, stated that «the point is not an official visit of Aliyev to France,» however he can «say nothing about the President's personal life.» The Azeri diplomat refused to unambiguously deny the reports that Aliyev is in Paris. Azeri sources today report nothing about Aliyev's location, only supposing next week the Azeri leader will be in Baku: January 20 Azerbaijan commemorates the victims of the events in 1990, reported RFE/RL.
