Cannes winner Avedikian’s “Paradjanov” trailer unveiled

PanARMENIAN.Net - The official trailer for “Paradjanov”, the joint project of Olena Fetisova and the Cannes winner Serge Avedikian has hit the web.

The film stars Avedikian as a brilliant director Sergey Paradjanov, whose nonconformist behavior conflicts with Soviet System. Parajanov’s eccentricities land him n jail, where his indestructible love for beauty allows him to withstand the years of imprisonment, isolation and oblivion.

“Parajanov” is co-produced with Ukraine, France, Georgia and Armenia. Initially planned to be screened in Cannes, the film might be featured at Venice Film Festival.

In an earlier conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Avedikian didn’t rule out for the film to premiere at Golden Apricot in Yerevan.
