Baku Intends to Solve Karabakh Status Issue «Based on Azeri Constitution»

PanARMENIAN.Net - «In 2006 the parties may transfer to the phase of decision-making over basic principles of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,» Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov stated. The Azeri FM noted in his interview «we negotiate over 8-10 components, which include liberation of the occupied Azeri territories, mine clearing, return of refugees, restoration of transport communications.» «Then after the return of non-Armenian population to Karabakh and securing them open, democratic and legal determination of the NK status will be possible within the framework of the international law and norms and based on the Azeri Constitution in effect,» Mammadyarov stated, reported Mediamax.
