 U.S. ambassador meets Gyumri city mayor May 28, 2013 - 14:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Gyumri city mayor Samvel Balasanyan met on May 27 with U.S. ambassador John Heffern. Mayor Balasanyan briefed the envoy on the work carried out in the city, particularly on “Gyumri -2013 CIS capital” program preparations. In this context, Gyumri mayor invited ambassador Balasanyan and his wife to attend the opening ceremony, with reconstruction of Gyumri’s theater building further discussed. Gyumri mayor and the U.S. ambassador further attended “Along the Trails of the Armenian Orphans” photo exhibition.
