Kuwait ready to deepen economic ties with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyanmet on May 30 with his Kuwaiti counterpart Ali Al-Rashid.

Speaker Abrahamyan voiced confidence that the official’s visit will contribute to the development of bilateral relations and inter-parliamentary cooperation.

He hailed the progress in Armenian-Kuwaiti ties, noting that active operation of parliamentary groups will foster the development of cooperation in international organizations.

Attaching importance to regional stability and security, National Assembly Speaker said Armenia always adheres to peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Ali Al-Rashid, for his part, expressed confidence that the official visit to Armenia will give fresh impetus to bilateral relations, voicing readiness to deepen trade, economic, scientific and cultural cooperation with Armenia. Issues of mutual interest were further discussed.
