  Prisoners’ monthly maintenance totals $300 per person – Justice Minister May 31, 2013 - 15:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The main part of the penal system budget was allocated to a purchase of administrative equipment and salary raise for employees, according to Armenian Justice Minister. As Hrayr Tovmasyan stated during parliamentary discussions on the 2012 budget, prisoners’ monthly maintenance costs totaled AMD 124,7 thousand ($300) per person against $3000 monthly costs in developed countries.
