Ashot Hovhannisian Decorated with Krzyz Komandorski Orderu Zaslugi in Poland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to Poland Ashot Hovhannisian, who is completing his diplomatic mission, held a number of meetings with Polish officials, RA MFA press office reported. The Ambassador was received by Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski, who gave a high estimate to Hovhannisian's activities and voiced an opinion that the future of the Armenian-Polish relations is the cooperation in the united Europe. The Armenian diplomat also met with Polish Seym Marshal Marek Jurek, Senate Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz, Chair of the Constitutional Tribunal Marek Safjan, Foreign Minister Stefan Meller and Defense Secretary Stanislaw Koziej. He also met with former Polish President Lech Walesa. Ashot Hovhannisian paid a visit to Krakow where he met with the city authorities and representatives of the Armenian community. The diplomat was awarded with Krzyz Komandorski Orderu Zaslugi and decorated with Krakow's silver order.
