PM, World Bank Executive Director discuss cooperation prospectsJune 3, 2013 - 14:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with the Executive Director of the World Bank (WB) Frank Heemskerk. During the meeting, the parties focused on the possibilities of further expansion of WB-financed projects in Armenia, involving agriculture, state machinery and local governments. The Prime Minister further briefed the World Bank official on Armenia's economy, as well as implementation of reforms in the sector. In conclusion, Mr Heemskerk promised to initiate a discussion on the stance of the Armenian government on expansion of cooperation with the WB, governmental press service reported.
