Anti-Armenian report removed from Euronest agenda

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan put the draft report on “Armenian water resource limitation and the possible threat to Azeri nature protection” on Euronest Parliamentary Assembly’s 3rd session agenda, head of RA delegation said.

Artak Zakaryan noted that Armenian delegation was against the inclusion of the issue in the agenda, in consideration of Azerbaijan’s attempts to use the platform for anti-Armenian propaganda.

“We managed to remove the issue from the agenda,” the MP said, adding that according to the agreements reached, the Azeri and Georgian sides, as well as two European MPs withdrew offers that were inadmissible for the Armenian side.

Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group member Naira Zohrabyan, in turn, said Baku tries hard to promote own political interests.
