Snowfall in Armenia Likely to Continue All WeekJanuary 23, 2006 - 18:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The heavy snowfall in Armenia is expected to continue all the current week, PanARMENIAN.Net came to know from the RA meteorological center. The snowfall will stop at January 23 night and resume on January 24 afternoon. January 25 and 25 heavy snowfall is expected.To note, the airports of Zvartnots in Yerevan and Shirak in Gyumri are closed. The planes, which were in the air when the airports closed, were directed to extra airdromes. The rest of the flights were suspended till the improvement of weather conditions. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
