Italy, commander of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission, addressed Armenia with an offer to send a troop to fulfill headquarters security functions. Negotiations on the inclusion of Armenian troops in UNIFIL peacekeeping mission are currently underway, with RA defense ministry’s working group to depart for Rome next week for the purpose.
