Aztag editor-in-chief hails Armenian peacekeepers deployment in Lebanon

PanARMENIAN.Net - The editor in chief of Beirut-based daily Aztag Shahan Kandaharian hailed the deployment of Armenian peacekeepers in Lebanon.

“Armenia’s presence in international actions and organizations - especially to help promote peace in crisis areas – is a call of the times,” Kandaharian told PanARMENIAN.Net

“Turkey has recently boosted its regional presence, especially in Syria and Lebanon. Ankara was the first to suggest deployment of peacekeepers in South Lebanon. So, the deployment of Armenian peacekeepers must be viewed in this context as well,” he said.
