Minister Gevorgyan congratulated the envoy on the appointment, wishing him success in his further activity. He stressed the importance of interregional cooperation, hailing the existing potential. Intensification of Armenian-Russian cooperation has been reported recently, with 2012012 interregional conferences and different dialogue platforms giving fresh impetus to the bilateral relations. The format of the third conference due this fall was further discussed, with the format allowing for development of business ties mutually stressed. Upon completion of the meeting, Ambassador Volinkin pledged to foster the development of interregional relations.
