Bird Flu: WHO Specialists Arrived in ArmeniaJanuary 31, 2006 - 17:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Experts of the World Health Organization (WHO) for fighting bird flu arrived in Armenia Tuesday on an invitation of the Ministry of Health of the country. During their one-week working visit the experts plan to provide technical assistance to Armenia in holding prophylaxis and preventive measures against possible penetration of bird flu virus. Specifically the WHO specialists will help Armenia enhance sanitary and epidemiological inspection system, as well as diagnosing and cure of viral diseases, reported Interfax.
