Parliament grants privileges to Dilijan International School program![]() June 12, 2013 - 17:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Assembly approved today, on June 12, the draft law on granting tax and customs privileges to Dilijan International School program. The bill was approved by a vote of 85 to 5 with 20 abstentions. It envisages granting of privileges to all the organizations that will be recognized as program implementers. The organizations will be exempted from income taxes during transactions with non-resident companies. On June 11, opposition parliamentary groups slammed the parliament’s plan to adopt a bill without prior presentation of a program and schedule. The MPs supporting the bill, in turn, stressed the need to encourage the investors in the face of the lack of investments in the country. Heritage parliamentary group offered to put the bill on second vote, with ARF Dashnaktsutyun also suggesting the bill discussion should be postponed. Prosperous Armenia announced a decision to vote for the bill in view of opportunities the program offers. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
