Vodafone unveils Smart Mini budget Android handsetJune 14, 2013 - 18:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Vodafone has announced a budget Android handset priced at just £50, Digital Spy said. The Smart Mini comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek chip and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Available in either black or white, the wallet-friendly device also features a 2-megapixel camera and 4GB of on-board storage, expandable to 32GB via microSD support. "This is the Vodafone Smart Mini, and it's the most affordable Android Jelly Bean smartphone in town. It's also pretty capable for such a pocketable handset," said Vodafone in a blog post. "That makes is a pretty exciting prospect for anyone who wants to dip their toes into the mobile internet waters for the first time." The Vodafone Smart Mini is available to purchase on pay-as-you-go from today. A pink version of the device will be released at a later date.
