Bomb planted on Pakistani bus for women's university kills 11

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Pakistani police chief said a bomb planted on a bus for a women's university has killed 11 female students in the country's southwest on Saturday, June 15, according to The Associated Press.

Mir Zubair Mahmood says the blast in Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province, set the bus on fire. He says another 19 were injured.

Earlier that day in a different town in the same province, militants destroyed a historic house associated with the country's founder, shooting dead a guard.

The province is home to Islamic militant movements as well as an ethnic nationalist insurgency.
