Belarusian President says ready to help Karabakh conflict resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko “hates mediating roles” but can assume one to promote resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

As Lukashenko told Izvestia.ua, he offered the role to Ukraine “but they refused.”

“This problem should be solved,” the Belarusian President said. “I have talked to leaders both in Armenia and Azerbaijan and they agreed. With their political will, the OSCE Minsk Group can be a guarantor of the agreement reached by the conflicting sides.”
