Short-circuit fault causes fire at Martiros Saryan Museum in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Fire hit Yerevan-based Martiros Saryan Museum on the night of June 19, damaging the furniture on the fist floor.

The museum artifacts were moved to a place of safety after the fire was put out; reconstruction works are currently in progress.

As the Culture Ministry told PanARMENIAN.Net the fire was caused by a short-circuit fault; no significant material damages were reported.
