Parliament approves amendments to law on minimum wage rate

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian parliament on Wednesday, June 19, approved amendments to the law on minimum wage rate.

The amendments envisage a 30% increase of the minimum salary up to AMD 45 000, starting from July 1, 2013, with additional AMD 6 billion to be allocated from the national budget for the purpose.

Besides, new scale of salaries will be introduced, according to which the minimum wage rate will be doubled by 2017.
