Rice and Aliyev Discussed Coming Meeting of Armenian and Azeri Leaders

PanARMENIAN.Net - This morning US State Secretary Condoleezza Rice and Azeri President Ilham Aliyev had a telephone conversation. During it they discussed matters of the coming Paris meeting between the Armenian and Azeri Leaders Robert Kocharian and Ilham Aliyev. The parties exchanged views over the situation in the talks, aimed at settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as over settlement prospects. Aliyev also remarked the special role the US plays in the peace process, reported Day.az.
