Mkhitaryan comments on situation with regard to his transferJune 22, 2013 - 23:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan commented on the situation with regard to his transfer and his whereabouts on his Facebook page. “I am happy to see that people show keen interest in my career but I would like to ask all not only to refrain from making comments and but also to prevent the spread of unverified and false information,” Mkhitaryan said. He said he has been reading various kinds of publications during the past several days, with many of them being odd. As for Ruben Hayrapetyan, the President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Mkhitaryan described him as a man, who exerted every effort to promote his career in best clubs. Dwelling on his transfer, Mkhitaryan noted that his official representative is dealing with the issue. “I am not meddling with these affairs. If have a contract with a club, I just fulfill it,” he said. “If an agreement is reached between clubs I will be informed of the details and then will accept or reject it.” Mkhitaryan said he is currently in Paris, while media outlets “are making suppositions” regarding his travel routes. He said he didn’t want to talk to journalists recently, as he cannot comment on something he is not aware about. “A professional player has to obey the rules,” Mkhitaryan said, promising to inform his fans about the news through his page on the social network or the official FFA website.
