“Arrested Development” scribe to pen “Knight Rider” remake

PanARMENIAN.Net - Knight Rider has hired screenwriter Brad Copeland, Digital Spy said.

The Wild Hogs writer will tackle the movie remake for The Weinstein Company, reports the Los Angeles Times.

David Hasselhoff has said that he wants to be involved in the movie.

The original TV series ran from 1982 to 1986 and has spawned a series of spinoffs and reboots since.

The most recent, 2008 Knight Rider series lasted for only a single season.

Copeland has written for television shows including Arrested Development and The Inbetweeners, as well as the movies Wild Hogs and Yogi Bear. He wrote and directed the upcoming Coffee Town.
