Google Play Books is now live in total of 18 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Russia, United Kingdom and United States. That, however, leaves more than half of the world uncovered. Last time Google expanded the Books service was in March and at that time only one country was included – Mexico.
