Education Minister meets Armenian sportsmen ahead of Universiade

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 27th Kazan Summer Universiade due July 16-17 in the Russian city will host an Armenian team, among others.

Education and Science Minister, the Students Sports Federation President Armen Ahotyan met with the Armenian delegation on Monday, July 1. The official expressed confidence for the team to take their best efforts to bring home a number of medals.

According to the Federation Deputy President, the head of the Armenian delegation Razmik Stepanyan, Armenian sportsmen will perform in the following disciplines - swimming, chess, Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, judo, sambo wrestling, belt wrestling, boxing, athletics and weightlifting.

The tournament arbiters will include representatives from Armenia.
