MP: Baku report of Moldovan lawyer threats in Armenia falseJuly 6, 2013 - 14:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - MP David Harutyunyan refuted Azeri reports suggesting Moldovan lawyer Aurelia Grigoriu was threatened over her recent anti-Armenian remarks at a Yerevan-hosted conference. In a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Harutyunyan dismissed Azeri reports as groundless. “Most probably, Baku was shocked over Yerevan’s calm reaction to its provocations. Azeris didn’t get the results they expected, so they’re trying to cause a stir by spreading disinformation,” the MP said. As he earlier noted, the Moldovan lawyer’s statement was clearly ordered by Azerbaijan. Earlier, the Moldovan lawyer slammed Armenia as an “aggressor,” accusing Armenia of “occupying 20% of Azeri territory and committing an ethnic cleansing in Khojalu.” Top stories Achieving stable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains a priority of the OSCE, said Ian Borg.
