Armenian Ministry of Justice Worked out Judicial Code Draft

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ministry of Justice of Armenia has submitted draft of the Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia for public discourse, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Justice Ara Saghatelyan told PanARMENIAN.Net The draft includes approaches issuing from today's reality, analysis of the functioning of the judicial system for the past seven years, study of the rich experience of countries with progressive judicial and legal system. The document summarizes concepts that will form the basis when working out the legislative package of the second phase of judicial and legal reforms. The document submitted is more of a conceptual nature at the moment: it does not follow the legislative technique rules, there are discrepancies. The Ministry of Justice of Armenia considers public debate of the Judicial Code a priority move. Observations and proposals over the draft Judicial Code can be submitted electronically to qnnarkum@justice.am.
