NKR Leader: «Our Army Most Powerful Guarantor of Independence and Security»

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh President Arkady Ghukasyan is sure that «frontiers are in reliable hands and our army is the most powerful guarantor of independence and security.» At a meeting with journalists in Stepanakert he remarked that NK today has an army meeting international criteria. «Everyone knows about our army - our adversary, mediators, all of the world. It is an army that is actually able to defend the Fatherland,» the President remarked.



Commenting on Russian President Putin's initiative to invite R. Kocharian to Moscow for consultations over settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, A. Ghukasyan said, «It is natural when co-chairing countries, participating in the NK conflict settlement, consult with the parties to conflict and I welcome the idea of holding consultations of the kind was stated at that level,» reported Karabakh-online.com.
