Armenian President meets Georgia’s Revenue Service head

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met Saturday, July 13, with the Head of the Revenue Service of the Georgian Ministry of Finance, Vladimir Khoundadze.

Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan stressed the importance of the Armenian-Georgian cooperation in different fields, including customs, and noted that such cooperation is coherent with the dynamically developing bilateral relations.

The two men discussed issues pertaining to the modernization of the checkpoints on the Armenian-Georgian border and bringing them in line with international standards. They also stressed the importance of close cooperation for operational exchange of information between the Customs Services of the two countries.

Mr. Khoundadze briefed on the results of his discussions with the Head of the RA State Revenue Service, which in his opinion, have been efficient and covered all current issues which concern the Custom Services.
