Turkey sells over 1,500 pistols to Azerbaijan in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey sold 1,545 pistols to Azerbaijan in 2012, the report submitted to the UN Register of Conventional Arms by the Turkish Government said, according to APA.

The types of the pistols have not been revealed.

In 2012, Turkey exported 26.8% of total 43,883 pistols to Asia (11,762), 53.5% - to the US (23,510), 4% - to Europe (1,757) and 15.6% - to Africa (6,854).

Azerbaijan and Turkey are currently producing three types of pistols in Baku. 40% of spare parts are produced in Azerbaijan.
