Russian Deputy FM vows unbiased probe of Podolsk road crash

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan met with the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin to discuss bilateral ties.

The parties also focused on a Podolsk road accident which left 18 dead, with truck driver Hrachya Harutyunyan accused of causing the crash.

The envoy expressed condolences to the families of crash victims, also voicing hope for unbiased investigation of the incident.

The Russian official, in turn, assured the ambassador of the thorough investigation based on fair approach and protection of human rights.

In conclusion, the parties stressed the unacceptability using the tragedy and the probe for personal gains.
