1st look at Kate Winslet in “Divergent” bestseller adaptation

PanARMENIAN.Net - New pictures have been released from the upcoming Divergent movie, Digital Spy said.

The images, revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, include the first look at Kate Winslet as Jeanine Matthews in the dystopian drama.

The film, based on Veronica Roth's best-selling novel, is set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities.

When Tris Prior, played by Shailene Woodley, is warned that she is "divergent" and will never fit into any one group, she discovers a conspiracy to destroy all divergents.

She must find out what makes being different so dangerous before it is too late.

Woodley recently revealed that Jennifer Lawrence encouraged her to take the lead role in Divergent.

Lawrence told her about all the positive changes in her life since starring in the Hunger Games series.

Divergent is released on March 21, 2014.
