Heritage: Association Agreement with EU major foreign policy step![]() August 2, 2013 - 17:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union will not mean that Armenia pursues anti-Russian policy, deputy chairman of Heritage party said. “With signing this agreement, our country will make a major step in its foreign policy and will get a possibility to boost its economic development through implementation of various reforms,” Armen Martirosyan told a news conference in Yerevan. “We fought for the independence of Artsakh. Now, it’s time to start fighting for our future and the Association Agreement is tool to reach this goal,” he said. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
