Armenian Deputy PM meets with ICRC rep over captured soldier![]() August 16, 2013 - 17:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimian met with representative of the Yerevan office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Dragana Rankovic to discuss the issue of Armenian captive Hakob Injighulyan and possibility of his soonest return to Armenia. The Armenian official called on the international organization to intensify meditation efforts to meet with the captive in Baku and was assured by Ms. Rankovic that all necessary measures are being taken to that end. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
