Yerevan hosts rally against police violence![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Activists in Yerevan took to the streets to protest police violence, marching from Armenia’s police building to the Prosecutor General’s office. The rally was organized in protest against police officers who used violence on civil rights activists. During the event, the activists were distributing flyers which described the rights of the citizens and ways to protect oneself from illegal actions of the policemen. The protesters addressed a letter to Armenia’s Prosecutor General. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
