ANC Australia announces launch of Professional NetworkSeptember 2, 2013 - 12:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Committee (ANC) of Australia has announced the launch of its Professional Network (PN), which will take place at The Ivy with international businessman, Pierre Hennes as the special guest. The ANC-PN is a global organization with branches in North America and Europe, and is focused on building a platform for Armenian professionals to engage through an active membership and organised events. The ANC-PN goal is to connect and develop a strong network of socially responsible, community focused and engaging Armenian-Australian professionals. This aim is achieved through: Regular A-List networking events, with high profile local and international speakers; Engaging and partnering with community based organisations and charities; Providing the opportunity to connect with future business partners, customers and associates. Hennes, who will keynote the launch, is a noted Armenian venture capitalist. A New York University MBA graduate, he has established many successful business ventures around the world. Hennes's passion for entrepreneurship has recently taken him to Armenia, where together with his partners, he is launching Armenia’s first professional Venture Capital fund “Granatus Ventures” aimed at capatalysing Armenia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Chairman of the ANC-PN, Shant Soghomonian stated: “We are very excited to launch the Armenian National Committee of Australia's Professional Network. The PN will fulfill an important role in our community.
